Art as Gifts - A First Anniversary

I realized I've been remiss posting my fall and holiday commissions. Here's the first!

It took a year of painting professionally for it to finally happen: a commission request for a first wedding anniversary gift. I've done a ton of wedding, birthday, and holiday gifts, and even later anniversary commissions, but no first anniversaries! This is strange to me because the first anniversary is the "paper" anniversary, and art seems like such an obvious choice! This was from a husband to his wife, depicting the venue they were married at. A beautiful barn surrounded by gorgeous fall foliage? Yes, please! This was a joy to do, and apparently went over quite well!
