Sketching the Main Event

For many events, I'll sketch the event itself. In the case of weddings, I usually do a larger sketch of the ceremony. The clients and I figure out in advance if there is a specific view or size of work they are expecting, and go from there!

Quick Guest Portraits

A popular choice for cocktail hours and receptions: participating guests will sit for a portrait and in 2-4 minutes will have a watercolor sketch of themselves as a souvenir of the event! Portraits are 5x7" and come with an envelope to keep them safe on the way home.

Looking the Part

I always make sure to ask about the dress code and dress the same way I would if I were a guest at the event. The aim is to blend in!
