Hanging Nasturtiums
This month I got to go up and visit two of my closest friends in Boston, and a bonus of visiting them is we almost always visit the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum (you may remember it from this post). And luckily, in April the ISG shows it's gorgeous hanging Nasturtiums, which are very impressive and I couldn't resist watercoloring them. This time, I used a couple of photos I took to figure out the composition and lighting and painted it from home as a longer study. And by longer, I mean both in time and in composition, because as you'll see, it's my tallest work to date!
